So long Twitter, hello Substack
So here we are...
I’ve been on Twitter since January 2009
and now it looks like it’s over! I joined when I was working at a “buzz and social media” agency and needed it for work. Since then it has become a place where I have made friends, got jobs, chatted a lot of nonsense with people that have floated in and out of my life and yes, let’s face it, got a fair amount of abuse.
But it looks like it’s coming to an end, and so I am going to try this for a while to see how I get.
I am planning on using this space to share my writing, link to my work, promote my book, share books and films recommendations and the odd musical thought, and generally reflect on and chat about the issues of the day.
We will see how it evolves, perhaps it can become a space to think about creative writing, a place for discussion and Q & As… who knows!
But for now, at least I’ve made a start…
